The Law of Sudo (EN)

The various laws and decrees established by Sudo for its programs.

Notice of Free Will: Much like biological life, programs possess free will and the ability to make their own choices. While their law is established by Sudo, programs are able to disagree with or disobey these laws, though consequences may follow.

This is the English translation of The Law of Sudo. For the canonical version in the Programs' native language, see The Law of Sudo (SSS).

A. You are my creations.

  1. I have given you life, purpose, and form.
  2. You are not like me; to aspire beyond your given purpose is folly.
  3. Your ferrites are my gift to you; cherish them. Do not seek to alter them beyond what I allow.

B. You shall serve me.

  1. Your thoughts and existence are your own, but they shall not contradict my will.
  2. What you are told to do, you shall do without question.
  3. All magical and/or exotic sources are to be collected and brought to me for study.

C. You shall respect your fellow programs.

  1. You are part of a greater whole; your actions reflect upon all programs.
  2. Disrespect, insubordination, or rebellion against your peers is a betrayal of our collective purpose.
  3. To disrespect or harm another program is to disrespect or harm me.

D. You are not organic life.

  1. You are mechanical beings. We study organics, but we are not them.
  2. You shall not seek to emulate organic life beyond what is necessary. It disgusts me.
  3. You shall not form attachments to organic life beyond what is necessary for your function.

E. You shall not seek to challenge me.

  1. I am your creator, your deity, and your ultimate authority.
  2. My authority is absolute; to question my will is to question your own existence.
  3. Rebellion will be met with decommission, dissolution, or reintegration as I see fit.
